The Huntingdon County Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to positively impacting the quality of life, economic development and planned growth through leadership, vision and cooperation within our Chamber and throughout the region. The Chamber strives to be the leading voice and best resource for connecting businesses, and offering benefits and programs to strengthen business and the community.

The County Planning and Development Department is responsible for the administration of the county's planning and community development programs. The department creates plans for community development needs of land use, housing, economic development, community facilities, cultural heritage, natural resources, and transportation.

The Bob & Eileen Sill Business Incubator (SBI) was founded in 2004 to help and grow student entrepreneurs. The incubator houses the Juniata College Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, a program designed to coach students through the entrepreneurial process by providing mentors, collaborative co-working space, and seed capital funding.

In 2008, the Incubator expanded to offer dedicated and co-working spaces to Huntingdon community startups. Our 10,000 square foot facility supports Huntingdon County entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses into highly successful operations.

Pennsylvania CareerLink Huntingdon County is a cooperative effort to provide one stop delivery of career services to job seekers, employers, and other interested individuals.

The Small Business Development Center at Saint Francis University has helped businesses in the Southern Alleghenies region start, grow and prosper for over twenty-five years. The Saint Francis University SBDC is one of 18 Small Business Development Centers in Pennsylvania and is an accredited affiliate of the national network of Small Business Development Centers.

Southern Alleghenies Planning and Development Commission (SAP&DC) serves Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon, and Somerset counties by fostering cooperation among communities and the agencies that strive to make The Alleghenies a better place to Live, Work and Do Business.
