Business Counseling Assistance

HCBI, and its partner JCEL, offer many business counseling resources to our clients.  Our partnership with the St. Francis Small Business Development Center (SBDC) allows us to offer professional and confidential assistance to individuals looking to start or who are currently operating a small business.  Twice a month, counselor Terry Anderson is in Huntingdon County working with clients at our office, located in the Sill Business Incubator, downtown Huntingdon.  This assistance helps individuals evaluate their business idea and determine its viability in the market place.  Should this be the case, the counselor assists the client with market research, competition analysis, financing ideas and modeling. 

Upon completion of the business plan, HCBI/JCEL project managers Amy Sheaffer and Susanne House stand ready to assist new start-ups or expanding business owners with implementing their plans.  This may include accessing low-interest loans, workforce development assistance, space procurement (lease or purchase) and advice in accessing other types of technical assistance.  HCBI is committed to helping you bring your business idea to fruition.
