Bonney Forge Corporation is an industry leader in marketing and manufacturing forged steel valves, forged fittings, branch connections and other related products. Bonney Forge's plant in Mt. Union is a full-service machining operation, incorporating 175,000 square feet of manufacturing space and a full complement of versatile production equipment.
D.C. Goodman & Sons, Inc.
D.C. Goodman is a third-generation Huntingdon-based company that sells, installs and services mechanical, heating/HVAC, plumbing, electrical and security systems for commercial clients. The company has over 100 skilled trades personnel and technicians servicing clients like Mutual Benefit Group, J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital and Juniata College.
Huntingdon County Commissioners
Recognizing the importance of local economic development, Huntingdon County Commissioners R. Dean Fluke, William Hoover and Connie Kough-Pittenger are active partners in HCBI initiatives. The Commissioners have identified HCBI as the lead economic development agency for the county. This important designation is accompanied by both county and state funding.
Commissioners Fluke, Hoover and Pittenger are also involved participants in the HCBI Board, as well as Southern Alleghenies Planning and Development Commission (SAP&DC). The Commissioners also chair the Huntingdon County Partnership for Economic Progress (PEP).

The MeadWestvaco manufacturing facility in Alexandria is part of the Consumer Products Group which houses the leading names in school and office products with brands like Five Star®, Grad®, Scholastic® and Mead®. These items take our nation’s children from pre-school through graduate school while meeting their academic, artistic and organizational needs.
Mutual Benefit Group
A regional property and casualty insurance firm with home offices in Huntingdon, Mutual Benefit Group includes five member companies that share a rich and unique tradition within the American insurance industry. MBG offers its insurance coverage through member companies Mutual Benefit Insurance Company and Select Risk Insurance Company. Founded more than 95 years ago as a two-man operation, MBG has grown to employ over 200 people.
