KIZ Programs

KIZ
The Huntingdon County/Juniata College KIZ provides a variety of special programs for the KIZ companies, area entrepreneurs and Juniata students and faculty.

Workshops

A workshop series provides personalized support for entrepreneurs in a small group setting where hands-on, interactive learning is emphasized. Our partner organizations take an active role in delivering content related to financing, networking and business growth.

Entrepreneurial Video Library

The Juniata College Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (JCEL) has created an on-line database of over 600 video clips from over 50 entrepreneurs. After registering for free, users can use this virtual educational tool to help them develop and grow their business.

Innovations for Industry

Through Juniata's Innovations for Industry (I4I) program, KIZ companies have access to Juniata students who help identify technology challenges facing the business, while offering practical solutions.

Networking Events

A few times a year, the KIZ 'rolls out the welcome mat' to entrepreneurs from across the county, the region and the state. The opportunity to develop relationships with other business visionaries strengthens business growth potential in the county and the state.

Intern Program

Juniata provides interns from a variety of academic disciplines - marketing, accounting, communication, information technology, biology, environmental sciences and political science. Huntingdon County residents attending college out of the area can also be connected to KIZ companies, providing internships, and potential job opportunities, close to home.
