The Tech Center is a high technology company located in Caffeine, an internet café in beautiful downtown Huntingdon, PA. The Tech Center was started by Adam Clampet and is under the Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ) through the business’s work with information technology (IT). The company’s location has created a unique opportunity to provide service to the State College, Altoona, and Huntingdon areas.
The Tech Center is a total IT Solutions provider for commercial and resident clients, but in particular businesses with high reliance on IT, builders and contractors, and farmers of the tri-county region. As future markets begin to open themselves up to new technological advances, The Tech Center looks to have contracts with Verizon, Comcast, and other service providers for installation of services, as well as system design and maintenance for local government.
The Tech Center offers a few different services that are unique to the region, such as: Wild Blue satellite wireless internet, which is provided to people who do not have access to high speed cable or DSL internet in their area, home installation of DigiLinX, which is IP controlled, multi-room streaming audio, and the exclusively licensed distributor of Apple products and computers in Huntingdon County.
