HCBI Operations Manager

The Operations Manager assists the Huntingdon County Business and Industry (HCBI) Executive Director and Director of Business Outreach to further economic development efforts throughout Huntingdon County. This position participates in a team approach, while also completing independent projects. The Operations Manager coordinates accounts payable and receivables, including but not limited to: preparation of weekly bills and invoices for HCBI members, partners and loan clients. Basic understanding of bookkeeping principals (experience preferred). Implement HCBI investment/membership initiatives–conducting/monitoring annual membership drive, and coordination/planning of the Annual Meeting. Complete monthly bank reconciliations, and create reports for HCBI Committees. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks. Reception duties include but is not limited to answering the phone and greeting clients. Maintain other office records (both electronic database and hard copy file). Meeting Preparation–take, edit, and distribute agendas/minutes and prepare document packages. Schedule meetings and events (communicate notices to membership and committees). Participate in public relations, marketing, social media, and defined website postings. Participate in Grant compliance activities. Provide logistical support for projects and special events.
