Work to Begin on the Spring Creek Road Bridge Rehabilitation Project
Three Springs –The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that prime contractor George S. Hann of Fort Littleton will begin work on Monday, July 18, on the T-342 (Spring Creek Road) bridge rehabilitation project in Cromwell Township, Huntingdon County.
Work on this project consists of removing the bituminous decks on the existing structure, placement of a new composite concrete deck, removal of deflection joints in barrier and other minor structure work. Minor roadway approach work and other miscellaneous construction will also take place as a part of this project.
An approximately 5 mile detour will be implemented and will follow T-342 (Spring Creek Road) to Route 994 and back to T-342 (Spring Creek Road).
All work on this $784,307 project will be completed by November, 2016.
