Standing Committees
Executive Committee – comprised of the officers of the corporation and the standing committee chairpersons, the committee provides strategic direction to the Board of Directors, oversees human resource functions for the organization and, when granted authority, acts on behalf of the Board.
Committee Chair: Steve Sliver, Mutual Benefit Group
Business Development – provides oversight for HCBI properties, including Riverview Business Center, while providing strategic direction for HCBI related to local and state economic programs.
Committee Chair: Jinny Cooper, Poole Anderson
Economic Infrastructure - identifies initiatives for improvements in areas needed to create an environment conducive to entrepreneurship and economic development including transportation, education and health care.
Committee Chair: Jay Muir - Jay R. Muir Agency
Marketing Committee - develops a marketing strategy for the promotion of the county as a positive place to do business, as well as a strategy for marketing available HCBI properties.
Committee Chair: Erik J. Lindberg - Hoss's Steak & Sea House
Membership Committee - develops and implements a strategy to recruit new members and retain existing members.
Committee Chair: Ed F. Harry, Jr. - Orbisonia Hardware
Nominating Committee – selects a slate of nominees to fill available seats on the Board of Directors.
Committee Chair: Tim Schrack - Schrack Realty
Ways and Means Committee - recommends a yearly budget for the operating and trust accounts, oversees monthly expenses and income and coordinates campaign drives.
